The church in Honduras is progressing well. The walls are completed and the roof is getting started. The church will be completed 18 months ahead of time. We are proud of what we have set out to accomplish and complete. The we is all of you and the Honduran community. This church building has greater significance. For all of us the place to worship is essential. Our sanctuary to be shared by all. This community in Honduras was invited by another community we began working with 15 years ago. The beauty of our faith is the equal sharing of that faith. The equal sharing of the joy and beauty of God's love. There are no conditions of that love. All of you, the Honduran communities and each one of the youth group will be forever connected in your faith. This is who we are as a Catholic. As we all move forward while being guided by the holy spirit in this wonderful collaboration we should be reminded each day the power we have to do so much good. Just like the two Honduran communities have come together to strengthen the faith of those who did not have a place to worship we have come together for those who may not think they have a place to worship. We have come together in our strengthen faith for the benefit of anyone seeking the unconditional love of God and each of you. The collaboration allows all of us a renewed joy and journey in our faith.
